Financialization and climate finance 101

This first seminar gives an overview of the relationship between the ‘real’ economy and the financial economy, define and describe basic concepts (equity vs. debt, risk, and capital costs) and interests behind them, and how these relate to the financial crisis (currently affecting industrialised countries). This is then be related to the emerging trends in climate finance.
